Finally at 66 and retired I get to exercise the demons of my scout envy from childhood, I missed out on the fun camping trips and hiking trips that all the boys scouts got to do, this is the log of my adventures up the Appalachian trail.

About Me
Hi, I’m Barbara. My name means Stranger. The perfect trail name, to take with me on my adventure up the Appalachian trail. It will be easy for folks to remember and true! I am starting out this adventure with my hiking buddies Piper and Tim. We are excited and Lucky to have along with us Trail Sherpa: Larry, my indulging and loving husband, and our newly christened “Scouts Envy” a Coachmen Express RV.
